Jay F. Cook, Esq. 

Practice Overview

Jay Cook is a real estate attorney who provides legal services in all aspects of real estate law. His practice focuses primarily on the acquisition, development, construction, financing, sale and leasing of commercial properties. Jay’s financing work includes multi-state transactions and foreclosures.  He also has experience in the creation and development of mixed use, condominium and other planned communities, and in the acquisition, sale and financing of residential properties. Jay has recently expanded his practice to include Florida property tax petitions.

Prior to establishing his practice in Naples, Florida, Jay was a partner at Minneapolis-based Dorsey & Whitney LLP, practicing in the firm’s real estate group from 1973 through 2006.
